Terms of Use
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of FlashStory Chinese. By using the app or related services, you agree to these Terms.
Using FlashStory Chinese
FlashStory Chinese is a language-learning product that provides reading, vocabulary, and practice features. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it. You must provide accurate information when required and may not misuse authentication, account-linking, or subscription features.
Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. Pricing, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are subject to the terms shown at purchase and Apple’s applicable rules.
Unless canceled through Apple before renewal, an auto-renewable subscription may renew automatically. Deleting your FlashStory Chinese account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription.
Free usage limits
Free features may include usage limits. We may adjust free and paid feature availability over time, provided changes comply with applicable law and platform requirements.
Learning content
FlashStory Chinese is intended for educational use. Translations, pronunciations, definitions, AI-generated material, and other learning content may contain errors or omissions. You should not rely on the app as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the service, bypass usage or subscription controls, access other users’ data, probe or exploit security vulnerabilities, use the service unlawfully, or use automated methods in a way that materially disrupts the service.
Intellectual property
The FlashStory Chinese app, branding, software, original learning content, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
Third-party services
The app may rely on third-party services, including Apple services, cloud infrastructure, authentication providers, subscription services, monitoring tools, and AI providers. Their separate terms may also apply to your use of those services.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account through the in-app deletion flow where available. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with law.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that are not expressly required by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlashStory Chinese will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The revision date at the top of this page indicates when they were last updated.
